In case anyone thought I'd drifted a bit into questionable taste in my last post, here's more stuff to reinforce that idea.
I haven't gotten around to putting my casket adverts in frames yet, but no matter since I have an already framed picture of a casket. An occupied casket. I call this one of my finest flea market moments: Early to Mid 20th Century Guy Taking the Big Ol' Dirt Nap. The seller I got this from questioned me about my reasoning for buying it, as though selling it was perfectly freakin' normal.
Dirt Nap Guy hangs over my bed, the very same bed occasionally occupied by the infamous Mr. Bill in Drag Pillowcases. I'll leave you to imagine the sad state of my social life.
Ahhh, everyone should have a dirty joke ashtray on their coffee table. Looking at the guy's clothes this little number appears to be from the early 1940s, but since the makers of such dodgy items tended to crank out the same things for years and years, who the hell knows. The makers of the venerable whoopie cushion seems to have been printing those things with the same amusing cartoon since the 1930s, so why not the manufacturers of rude ashtrays? I could look this up but the back is completely devoid of any markings or logos. So there.
