I Be On AntiCraft

Lookit! I've got a pattern posted in the new AntiCraft.

The original title was "Belladonna" but they already had a pattern in that issue with a similar name. The girls came up with "Asphyxiation" and it kinda sounds all sleazy.

You know I'm all about the sleazy.

So go and make something, dammit.

Damn thing picks up cat hair like you wouldn't believe. That's what I get for not getting another black cat. Or a bald cat.

You know, an extra-long one could make a belt or a short one could be a wrist thingy.

I like it. Do you think I could use some fingering-weight yarn instead of crochet cotton?

Sure, you could use fingering weight yarn. It might wind up being a little softer-looking but I think it would work.

I hope it cools off for you soon too.

That would make a killer wrist thing . . . I need to learn to crochet.

If I were still in burlesque, I would use Asphyxiation as a stage name. I dig the name a lot.

So after assessing the yarn situation here, the fingering weight yarn I have isn't going to work, but I do have some burgundy crochet cotton. I also don't have the right size hook - the biggest tiny one I can find is 1.75mm. So I conclude that a wrist thing in the crochet cotton may be my best bet.
