School's Out and Spazzy Dancing Ensues

My crummy spring semester ended on Wednesday and I've just woken up from a well-deserved four day nap. What's happened since my last post? Not freakin' much, lemme tell ya.

The Queen landed here at the Stinktown International Airport on the 3rd, which was also my birthday. Coincidence? I think not! Except the old girl completely forgot to come by for tea--I would have even let her use my Star Trek mug. I washed it and everything. I expect she was too busy changing hats and shaking hands with the unwashed masses. And don't even try and tell me she couldn't have walked the 10 blocks to my apartment.

Then there was the lukewarm end-of-term critique of items I wasn't exactly enamored of. School has become both tedious and expensive.

Grumble.

I've got three new things I need to photograph and I also need to decipher my scribbled pattern notes so's I can post the little bastards. There's the machine-knit Eperimental Frumpy Skirt, a pair of fancy-ass gloves knit on size 00 dpns, and a pair of Moonflower Kneesocks. There also seems to be a pair of gauntlet gloves and some lace mitts shreiking to be put on the needles so that makes two more new thingies to go up later. There's also a machine-knitted suit with a bustle-style jacket that I've been sketching and pondering, so who knows what I'll wind up with this summer.

I've also got a handful of vintage patterns that I need to scan and post. We have a frightening swan bonbon dish and crocheted nightgown yoke from 1916, a short sleeved lace pullover from the late 40's, and a beaded choker from about 1915.

No progress whatsoever on my UFO pile. I'm bored to death with school so therefore everything in my apartment bores me as well. Yeah, this means you, filthy orange cat!

Ehhh, I'll get over it. Then there's my new zepplin to inflate for the first step in World Domination (shhh, don't tell!) and another planned moon mission. I'll probably leave the Cat Bastard at home this time, since he was the one that practically started an intergalactic war with Moon Men.

With all that stuff planned it's no wonder I've been bored as hell with school.
