Camisole Preview

I'm much too fried to post the pattern for this camisole tonight so you'll have to wait a day or two.

Click on it for a big stupid picture showing the skull & crossbones business knitted into the front.

It's knitted in cotton/ramie yarn recycled from a thrift store sweater. It's meant to be something you wear over T-shirts & blouses, since it's a bit too thick & sweaty to be worn by itself.

I stole the fit from 1940-50's tops so there's some kind of complicated short-row business making the front taller than the back and the side seams are shaped.

It's uncerimoniously flopped onto a 1940's battered old dressmaker's dummy. I've been intending for something like 15 years to draft a form to zip over it so it's actually my size. I'll get to it. Don't rush me!

Yup. That's about it.
